The goal of the Urgent Repair Program is to alleviate housing conditions which pose an imminent threat to the life or safety of low and very low income homeowners with special needs, and to provide accessibility modifications and other repairs necessary to prevent displacement from the home. All applicants must qualify for assistance by meeting income requirements, must show ownership of property, and must fit into one of the following categories: elderly, disabled, single parent, or household size of five or more.
